Provider
MyPocketDoctor service is operated by Mediaxes Philippines Inc., located at “11th Floor Apple One Equicom Tower, Mindanao Avenue corner Biliran Road, Cebu Business Park, Cebu City, Philippines 6000.” Disputes fall under Philippine law, with physicians practicing under standard medical licensing requirements.
Medical Advisory
The platform functions as a medical information service offering physician access via the app, 24/7/365. It does not cover physical examinations or treatments — those remain the responsibility of travel insurance or bilateral health agreements. General Practitioner consultations are priced at ₱599, with email invoices provided afterward.
Service Level
New users receive initiation through MyPocketDoctor. Contact options include email and SMS to specified numbers. The service disclaims responsibility for issues beyond their control, such as signal or connection failures.
EU, Iceland, and Norway residents may receive prescriptions when medically appropriate.
Legislation
Physicians cannot be held liable for acute surgical or emergency conditions. Contact local emergency services for acute situations. Physicians are independent contractors regulated by health authorities in their jurisdictions.
Complaint procedures are available upon request.
Languages Covered
English, Tagalog, and several Filipino dialects are available. Users should inquire about specific language availability when contacting the company.
Agreement
App download constitutes acceptance of these terms and consent to receive newsletters.
